Land Development

Land development includes one-lot surveys to 100 lot fully serviced subdivisions. Land development may include the; compilation of topography data from various sources (mapping/field data), assessment of environmental impacts, and the understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements (zoning, subdivision, transportation, and municipal servicing). CJMac have completed all stages of the development process from conceptual design to final approval of developments including design/build turn-key subdivisions. The staff includes professionals for all the stages of the land development process; land surveyors, environmental engineers, water/wastewater engineers, and technologists for construction inspection/supervision.

CJMac have completed numerous land use studies for residential developments, industrial parks, recreation complexes and Marine industrial parks. Clients include Municipal units, First Nation communities and private developers.

 

 


Project: St. Martha’s Hospital


Parking Lot Expansion, St. Martha’s Regional Hospital

C.J. MacLellan & Associates Inc. provided the engineering services for the construction of a new  60 space paved parking lot at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital.

Work included the legal survey to obtain the additional land required for the parking lot. Design and preparation of drawings and specifications. Tendering, Contract Administration and inspection services.

The project construction costs were $120,000. with design and contract administration fees of $20,000.
